Who can bid

Suitably qualified and experienced Childcare Providers. SMEs and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSE) are encouraged. Unsuccessful applicants may reapply from 2027/2028 onwards.

Estimated total value: GBP 3,000,000 (excluding VAT) / GBP 3,600,000 (including VAT). Framework for unlimited number of providers with annual application opportunities.

Contract period

Initial contract term: 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2030 (4 years). Extension option available for annual increments not exceeding 2 years maximum (potential end date 31 August 2032). Each subsequent annual application opportunity will have a contract term reduced by one year to maintain alignment with the overarching conclusion date.
