Who can bid
Open to individuals or organisations with relevant expertise in KS1-2 English curriculum and assessment. Two distinct roles: Assessment Advisor (requires KS1-2 teaching experience with English specialism) and Curriculum Advisor (requires substantial recent expertise in KS1 grammar, punctuation and spelling). Prior test development experience is not required for Assessment Advisor role; Curriculum Advisor role ideally includes assessment development experience.

Contract period
October 2026 to August 2028. Assignment lengths and meeting attendance requirements vary and will be agreed 3-6 months in advance. Roles can be performed alongside full- or part-time employment provided no conflict of interest exists and work can be completed within agreed timelines.
