Barcud Shared Services seeks a contractor to deliver multiple kitchen and bathroom replacements across V2C properties in Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The contract covers supply and installation of approximately 100 kitchens (small, medium, large) and 50 bathrooms over a 2.5-year period with optional 1-year extension.

Quality 40% · Price 60% Price 60% (based on total tender sum from pricing schedule) and Quality 40% (comprising: Previous Experience 5% + 5%, Contract Delivery 10%, Quality Assurance & Workmanship 10%, Communications 5%, Risk Management 5%). Scoring: 5=Excellent, 4=Good, 3=Acceptable, 2=Poor, 1=Unacceptable. Most Advantageous Tender (MAT) determined by combined weighted score.

Money

Estimated contract value GBP 1,100,000 (excluding VAT); GBP 1,300,000 (including VAT). Pricing schedule: Small kitchens (up to 10m²) 20 units at GBP 6,750 each = GBP 135,000; Medium kitchens (up to 15m²) 60 units at GBP 7,500 each = GBP 450,000; Large kitchens (over 15m²) 20 units at GBP 9,000 each = GBP 180,000; Bathrooms 50 units at GBP 3,700 each = GBP 185,000. Total for evaluation GBP 950,003 (includes SOR items). All prices include VAT, labour, materials, plant, preliminaries, overheads, profit, and tenant liaison.

Performance guarantee

No performance bond amount specified in documents. Successful tenderer must provide evidence of all self-declared qualifications and pass/fail criteria within set timeframes; failure to provide satisfactory evidence will prevent contract award. Contract may be terminated immediately if supplier or any entity on which supplier relies is added to debarment list under Procurement Act 2023 Section 59.

Supplier clarification deadline 25 August 2026 at midday. Questions submitted via Sell2Wales Q&A facility. Barcud reserves right to seek written and/or in-person clarification from tenderers; failure to respond adequately may result in non-selection.

Contract period

Contract start 14 September 2026, end 30 March 2029 (approximately 2.5 years). Optional 1-year extension available, extending to 29 March 2030.
