What this is

NHS South West London Integrated Care Board (SWL ICB) is developing a service specification and contracting process for Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) across the six boroughs of South West London. The service targets children and young people with mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing needs, delivering evidence-based interventions, whole-school approaches and timely advice to staff, working with participating schools and colleges. The proposed contract length is 3+2 years with an indicative cost envelope of £11.7M, with values expected to rise to meet 100% national coverage by December 2029.
