What this is

West Dunbartonshire Council is establishing a multi-lot framework for Subcontractors and Specialist Contractors to deliver maintenance, routine servicing, and emergency repairs across Council buildings, including void properties. The framework comprises 10 lots covering landscaping, asbestos removal, flooring, fencing, scaffolding, electrical, laundry equipment, UPVC windows and doors, small jobs, and void property refurbishment. The framework will operate on a ranked basis with 24/7 emergency response capability required. The Contract Notice is expected 9 March 2026.

Who can bid

Contractors must hold appropriate qualifications, insurance, and trade accreditations for their relevant lot(s). Asbestos lot requires UKAS accreditation; security-related elements may require SIA Approved Contractor Scheme registration. Contractors must provide a waste management plan. Can bid for multiple lots. Full eligibility criteria will be published with the Contract Notice.

How it is scored

Framework operates on a ranked basis — ranked Measured Term Contractors are called off in order of ranking if higher-ranked providers cannot meet demand. Evaluation criteria to be published with Contract Notice.
