What this is

Transport Scotland, on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, is progressing a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for Transport and Island Connectivity Planning, Appraisal, Data and Modelling consultancy services. The framework will run for 3 years with a 1-year extension option and be available to Regional Transport Partnerships and other Scottish Government Directorates. It comprises Lots covering transport modelling and data, the case for transport investment, island connectivity advisory, and transport planning advisory (each Lot with 3-5 suppliers). Call-off contracts over GBP 100,000 will be awarded via mini-competition. Estimated value is GBP 9,000,000.

Who can bid

Experienced transport consultants able to deliver across the proposed Lots (transport modelling and data, case for transport investment, island connectivity advisory, transport planning advisory); each Lot to comprise a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 suppliers.

Estimated value GBP 9,000,000. Call-off contracts under GBP 100,000 may be called off on rotation; those over GBP 100,000 will be awarded via mini-competition.

Lot structure may expand or be consolidated following market engagement.
