What this is

Amey Defence Services, acting for the DIO under the FDIS, is seeking a subcontractor (acting as Main Contractor) to carry out external refurbishments to 66 properties at Wittering in the Central Region (East Midlands & North) for FY2026/27. The scope includes replacing all doors and windows (with acoustic design), replacing garage/store personnel doors and windows, decorating, and replacing mains electric doorbells (requiring electrical and making-good works), plus a shared On Site Liaison Officer role. This is a call for competition seeking Expressions of Interest by email only; subcontractors must be Constructionline Gold members, capable of MOD SFG20 and BIM Level 2 working, and compliant with DefStan 05-138.

Who can bid

Subcontractors must be willing to act as Main Contractor (essential), be a Constructionline Gold member (or similar), be capable of MOD SFG20 and BIM Level 2 working, be compliant with DefStan 05-138, and be willing to deliver Social Value. Successful bidders must pass a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ), sign up to Amey Terms and Conditions, and meet MoD Security Requirements. EoIs are assessed under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (Regulations 57, 58 and 60).

Money

Estimated value GBP 4,500,000. For complex works the bidder must carry Professional Indemnity Insurance of at least GBP 1,000,000 at contract award.

Contract period

Works are for FY2026/27. Future works of a similar nature may be negotiated based on submitted rates via mini-competitions or call-offs under a Sub-contract Agreement.
