What this is

The Department for Education (DfE) intends to procure a national Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme for qualified careers advisers working with young people in England. The programme will be delivered over three academic years (2026/27 to 2028/29) with an optional extension, covering six modular CPD courses in digital, webinar, and expert-led formats for at least 1,000 careers advisers. The procurement will run under CCS Learning & Training Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) RM6219; suppliers must be admitted to DPS RM6219 and registered on DfE's Jaggaer platform by 8 April 2026.

Who can bid

Suppliers must be fully admitted to CCS DPS RM6219 under Bespoke Training / Wellbeing and Specialist/Niche Training with Specialist Training and Virtual Delivery filters applied, AND be registered on DfE's Jaggaer platform by midday on 8 April 2026. Any supplier not accredited under the correct categories and filters by this deadline will not be eligible to participate.

How it is scored

Evaluation criteria to be provided in the formal Invitation to Tender (ITT) on the Jaggaer/DPS platform. Programme must be scalable to train at least 1,000 qualified careers advisers (prioritising Level 6 and Level 7 professionals), combining digital learning, webinars, expert-led content, and peer interaction.

How to submit

Procurement will be conducted via DfE's Jaggaer e-procurement platform under CCS DPS RM6219. Suppliers must be admitted to the DPS and registered on Jaggaer by midday 8 April 2026 to receive an ITT. Formal procurement anticipated to launch 8 April 2026.

Clarifications

No clarification process at this stage — this is a future opportunity notice. Suppliers should join DPS RM6219 and register on Jaggaer to be eligible for the ITT.

Contract period

Three academic years: AY 2026/27 to AY 2028/29 (approximately 36 months), with an optional extension to AY 2029/30.
