Dumfries and Galloway Council is procuring licensed service providers to receive, treat and/or dispose of kerbside recycling streams from the Nithsdale and Stewartry areas, in two lots: Lot 1 fibres (mixed paper, card & cardboard from blue bins, EWC 20 01 01) and Lot 2 containers (metals, plastics & cartons from red bins, EWC 15 01 06). Material is offered loose and collected in the bidder's walking-floor articulated vehicles. Initial 2.5 years + optional 12-month extension; open procedure via PCS-Tender (project 31821); an electronic auction will be used.
