The University of Edinburgh is procuring a 6DOF (six degrees of freedom) motion platform capable of testing electrical power conversion test rigs with mass in the range of 1,000 kg (preferably 1,500 kg or above). The equipment will enhance the capabilities of the Electrical Power Conversion group within the Institute for Energy Systems.
