What this is
Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Specialised Peatland Restoration services across Scotland's national forests and land. The DPS covers site rewetting, hydrological restoration, specialised tree removal, mechanical mulching, brash management, chainsaw works, and access track creation. Estimated total value is £85.56 million over 60 months, with potential extension of up to a further five years.

Who can bid
DPS procedure. Exclusion grounds under regulation 58 of Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Insurance: Employer's Liability £5m, Public Liability £5m per occurrence. At least 2 examples of relevant peatland restoration experience in last 3 years (Open Ground and Forest to Bog). Professional qualifications for relevant tasks required. Health & Safety and Environmental Management accreditation or equivalent. Real Living Wage commitment and Community Benefits required. Prompt payment of subcontractors confirmed.

Contract period
