What this is

Stornoway Port Authority is procuring the construction of a new Passenger Access Gangway (PAG) at No. 3 Pier, Stornoway Harbour, to provide access from the new Fixed High Level Walkway (FHLW) to passenger ferries. The principal use is to provide access and egress for the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry which berths three times daily at this pier. Estimated value £300,000. Contract: 12 October 2026 to 06 November 2026 (approximately 4 weeks on site). Award criteria: 50% quality / 50% price.
