Arbroath Harbour Slipway Cradle Replacement

What this is

Angus Council is procuring the replacement of the Arbroath Harbour slipway cradle, which has reached the end of its serviceable life. Works include removal of the existing two-part cradle (upper and lower ends joined with brackets and pins), supply, installation and commissioning of a new cradle system that fits the existing track guides and is suitable for the operational requirements of the Harbour Authority. The contractor supplies all labour, plant, materials, temporary works and supervision. Works: July to August 2026. Award criteria: 30% quality / 70% price.
