What this is

Scotland Excel is inviting applicants to join an established Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Digital Telecare Goods on behalf of Scottish local authorities. The DPS covers two lots: Lot 1 for wearable and personal monitoring devices (pendants, fall detectors, GPS, medication prompts, etc.) and Lot 2 for environmental monitoring goods (smoke, movement, gas, flood detectors, grouped/dispersed alarms). The estimated total value is £12 million over 10 years.

Who can bid

Open to suppliers of digital telecare goods. Must hold Employer's Liability insurance (£5m) and Product/Public Liability (£10m per claim). Equifax Protect check must not show Warning or Caution. Up to 3 examples of relevant previous supplies in last 3 years required.

Quality 15% · Price 85% Each lot evaluated on Quality (Technical) 15-40% and Price 85-60%. Exact weighting set per mini-competition under the DPS. No limit on number of admitted candidates.

Money

Estimated total DPS value £12,000,000 excluding VAT over 10 years. Scotland Excel is the central purchasing body on behalf of Scottish local authorities.
