The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is seeking contractors for the supply, installation, commissioning and testing of replacement Roof Light Smoke Ventilation Systems at HMP Edinburgh and HMP & YOI Polmont (three units across two sites). The existing systems have been assessed as beyond economic repair; actuators are no longer available on the open market, leaving all units non-operational and creating a fire safety compliance risk.
