What this is

The Scottish Government is seeking a contractor to develop a quantified understanding of cumulative spatial restrictions to commercial fishing in Scottish waters, including spatial mapping and displacement analysis arising from offshore wind, marine protected areas, cabling, aquaculture, oil and gas, and other marine activities. The work will cover all known current restrictions as of 31 December 2025, three future scenarios, and spatial mapping of commercial fishing activity by gear type and vessel nationality.
