What this is

Health and Social Care Moray (commissioned by Moray Council) intends to procure a comprehensive Unpaid Carer Support Service covering adult carers (18+) in Lot 1 and young carers (under 18, or 18+ in education) in Lot 2, for the Moray area. The service will provide accessible, outcome-focused information, advice, practical support, short breaks, hospital discharge support, and transition support, aligned with the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016. The ITT was expected to be published via PCS-T in April 2026, with contract start date of 1 January 2027. Initial term is 24 months with an option to extend by up to a further 24 months.
