Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council are jointly issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for skip hire services to support waste management operations across council sites, including general waste, timber, inert waste, glass, green waste, WEEE, cardboard and other recyclable and residual waste streams. The estimated total value of the joint contract is £4,356,000 excluding VAT across multiple lots. The Contract Notice is expected to be published on 27 May 2026.

Who can bid
Suppliers must be able to provide skip hire services with compliant duty of care documentation, full transparency of downstream treatment, and regular reporting of recycling and landfill diversion performance.
