What this is

NHS National Services Scotland (NSS/PSD Scotland) is commencing a new procurement process for the supply of Healthcare Waste Sharps Bins, reference NP60626. Sharps bins will be supplied via the National Distribution Service to support all Health Boards within NHS Scotland. The procurement covers multiple clinical waste stream types including yellow, orange, blue, red and purple sharps containers. Estimated total value is GBP 12,800,000.
