Stirling Council, in collaboration with Police Scotland, Falkirk Council and Clackmannanshire Council, is conducting a joint procurement for stray dog kennelling and rehoming services (ref. SC2425-0147) covering the Forth Valley area. The contract comprises two lots: Lot 1 for seven-day kennelling of stray dogs, and Lot 2 for rehoming support for unclaimed animals after the statutory holding period. Who can bid
Suppliers must be licensed and capable of operating stray dog kennelling and animal rehoming services in compliance with animal welfare legislation. The contract excludes statutory dog control enforcement and stray dog collection functions.
