What this is
NHS Gloucestershire ICB has issued a Prior Information Notice to inform the market of its intention to commission dental access as part of a Centre of Dental Excellence (City Campus, Gloucester) and a Dental Access Centre (Quayside, Gloucester). The aim is to increase access to NHS dentistry in an area of greatest deprivation through two new bespoke primary care facilities, incorporating flexible commissioning and workforce training. Early indicative documents (service specifications, floor plans, architecture data sheets, PDS contract) are available, and providers are invited to give feedback via a market engagement questionnaire by midday Thursday 17 July 2025. The exercise is run by NHS SCW CSU on behalf of the Commissioner.
