West Northamptonshire Council is seeking quotations for grounds maintenance services at four closed landfill sites (0.8 to 13 hectares of rough grassland with monitoring boreholes, leachate and gas extraction wells). Routine work includes strimming around monitoring points and assets, mowing rough pasture and paths, and strimming compounds and brush; ad-hoc work includes fencing/gate/stile repair, hardcore surfacing, concrete repairs, litter and fly-tip clearance, tree surgery and signage. Routine visits are weather-dependent, typically at least twice per site between late spring and early autumn, via call-off.
