What this is
NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU, acting on behalf of NHS Cheshire & Merseyside ICB, is holding an online engagement event ahead of a future procurement for the provision of transferring care into Nixon Street, a renovated property in Macclesfield. The scheme is developed for 2-3 individuals with a Learning Disability and/or Autism who display behaviours that challenge (including those with a mental health condition) from the Cheshire area, supporting community-based rehabilitation under the Transforming Care programme. The contract is planned to start 1 March 2026 for 3 years with an option to extend by a further 2 years (to 28 February 2031). The maximum financial value is yet to be confirmed.
