What this is
The Scottish Government's Marine Directorate requires an external provider to undertake marine ecological sampling of target species across functional groups (fish, benthic, plankton) at four offshore wind farm sites and adjacent control areas on the east coast of Scotland, across three phases (winter 2025-spring 2026, summer 2026, autumn 2026). The work contributes to the ECOCHANGE Project, informing understanding of North Sea food web structure and the effect of offshore wind farm infrastructure on marine biodiversity. Sample analysis is a separate workstream not in scope.
