What this is

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is conducting early market engagement on the Protective Orders Support Grant, which funds legal advice and assistance to victims and survivors of domestic abuse to apply for protective orders (Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and Domestic Abuse Protection Orders), primarily in the family court, across England and Wales. The service requires a survivor-centered approach and an online platform to support applications and witness statements, with options for lawyer checks and legal aid routes, free of charge to all victims, plus training for the domestic abuse sector. The current provider (FLOWS, delivered by RCJ Advice with Rights of Women) has a grant ending 31 March 2026, currently valued at GBP 800,000 per annum. MoJ invites feedback via a short questionnaire to the Commercial Lead by 17:00 on 4 August; this engagement does not constitute an application and does not guarantee a competition.
