The Welsh Government has issued an early market-update / preliminary market engagement notice for the forthcoming Bro Tathan Power Project at the Bro Tathan strategic employment site (St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan). The project connects the site to the National Grid via new 132kV circuits and a substation delivering up to 280 MVA, to be delivered through a Joint Venture (design, build, finance, operate, maintain) under the Procurement Act 2023 Competitive Flexible Procedure. Estimated value £35,000,000. This is for awareness only — not a call for competition.
