What this is

Caerphilly County Borough Council has published a UK2 preliminary market engagement notice to inform a future procurement for the Provision of Employment and Digital ID Checks. The Council requires a secure, fully compliant electronic bulk ('e-Bulk') solution for end-to-end administration of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications with Digital ID Checking capability, supporting safe recruitment and safeguarding for its workforce, volunteers, foster carers and Direct Payment personal assistants. This is not a call for competition. The intended contract starts 1 December 2026 for 3 years with a 2-year extension option; estimated value GBP 100,000 excluding VAT.
