EKFB JV - NC2A Footway and Accommodation Overbridges FRC works

What this is

The EKFB JV is seeking a subcontractor to undertake FRC works for Accommodation and Footway overbridges in the NC2A section of the HS2 project.

Key points

• The subcontractor must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry.
• The subcontractor must hold a valid ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification.
• The subcontractor must be registered with the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) Safe Contractor Scheme.
• The subcontractor must have successfully completed at least 2 similar projects in the past 5 years, with a minimum value of £1,000,000 each.

The subcontractor must be a registered company with the UK authorities.

Price (60%) / Quality (40%)

Performance guarantee

The subcontractor must provide a performance bond in the amount of 10% of the contract value.

How to submit

Bidders must submit their tender electronically through the EKFB JV's e-tendering portal.

Clarifications

Bidders must submit any clarification questions in writing to the EKFB JV's procurement team by 12:00 noon on 10 February 2023.

Contract period

The contract will be for a fixed period of 12 months, with an option to extend for a further 6 months.
