Cardiff Council seeks to appoint an architect-led multi-disciplinary design team (RIBA stages 0-2) for its Pierhead Street site in Butetown, Cardiff Bay, to develop a residential-led mixed-use scheme of 300-350 apartments on vacant brownfield land, potentially co-locating a proposed Transport for Wales Metro station. The design team (architect lead plus civil/structural/MEP engineers, transport, planning, landscape and fire consultants) will produce a scheme up to RIBA Stage 2 to enable progression with a development partner.
