What this is
Isle of Anglesey County Council (Speculative / Market Testing Notice, SERVICES) is reviewing its options for the end-market provision of PAS100-compliant Compost / Soil Improver produced from kerbside-collected green garden waste processed on Anglesey. Around 5,000 tonnes of 20mm screened PAS100 compost is currently produced and spread to agricultural land; the Council can now also produce a higher-quality 10mm screened compost and wishes to explore new commercial markets (e.g. bagging for domestic/commercial landscaping). Interested commercial organisations are invited to express interest and may attend site visits. The award procedure is estimated to start 1 September 2025.
