Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste

What this is

Scotland Excel is operating a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the treatment and/or disposal of recyclable and residual waste material streams, mainly from households, council commercial collections and household waste recycling centres — mixed recyclate, paper, card, glass, cans, plastics, metals, wood, textiles, plasterboard, gas bottles, tyres, inert, bulky, street sweepings, gully waste, oils, MRF offtakes/outputs and residual waste. The DPS is a two-stage process with no cap on providers; all who meet the criteria and are not excluded must be admitted, and it stays open to entrants throughout its life. Estimated value GBP 200,000,000.
