What this is

YPO is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Appropriate Adults Services, covering both statutory and non-statutory services for two cohorts: children and vulnerable adults. The DPS is designed for use by all public sector organisations and safeguards the rights, welfare and effective participation of children and vulnerable people suspected of a criminal offence. Providers must follow national standards and meet the selection criteria; the DPS remains open to new providers throughout its life.

Who can bid

Applications submitted via YPO's procurement process. First-round submissions closed 5 November 2020 at 14:00; after this, suppliers may apply at any time.

Contract period

DPS runs from 8 December 2020 to 7 December 2024, with two options to extend by 24 months each (maximum 8 years to 7 December 2028). First extension decision by end of July 2024, subject to annual review, price negotiation and KPI performance.
