Extension of existing Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Passenger Transport Services

What this is

The London Borough of Enfield is extending its existing Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Passenger Transport Services, principally home-to-school and home-to-college transport for children and young adults with special educational needs. The DPS is divided into six lots covering taxis, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, mini-buses, coaches and ad hoc travel, with an option for vehicle-only spot/short-term/long-lease hire. The extension covers a further 34-month period from 18 April 2026 until 23 February 2029.

Who can bid

Open to transport providers meeting the Council's selection criteria with no grounds for exclusion applying; organisations already admitted to the existing DPS need not respond. New organisations may apply to join at any time during the DPS validity.

Total estimated DPS value GBP 60,000,000 excluding VAT; the estimated value of this extension alone is GBP 15,000,000 excluding VAT.

Organisations apply to join the Council's DPS; providers already admitted do not need to respond.

Contract period

Extension of the existing DPS for a further 34 months, from 18 April 2026 until 23 February 2029. The overall DPS runs from its 2017 establishment (original OJEU 2016/S 235-428337).
