Extension of existing Dynamic Purchasing System for the Supply of Passenger Transport Services

What this is

Wirral Council is extending its existing Dynamic Purchasing System for the supply of Passenger Transport Services, covering Private Hire, Hackney Carriage, PSV/PCV and other appropriately licensed vehicles. The DPS, established in 2022, is being extended under Regulation 28(1)(a) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 from 1 September 2026 to 23 February 2029 to ensure continuity of service. Suitably qualified operators may request to participate at any time; appointed suppliers are invited to tender for individual Lots/routes through calls for competition.
